MOSAIC INTERACTIVE IS A SUITE OF INTERDISCIPLINARY WORKS THAT EXPLORE OUR COLLECTIVE DREAMS, MEMORIES, AND RITUALS THROUGH SONG AND STORYTELLING

A team of artists from Morocco, Turkey, Indonesia, Palestine, Lebanon, South Africa and the U.S. are creating original works that tell stories of what we as humans hold sacred, and how we pass this along to future generations. These works will premiere in March 2019, with a tour to East Kentucky, West Virginia and East Tennessee, where artists will spend one week in each location and participate in community-led public events and dances, musical jams, and potlucks.

Mosaic Interactive is supported by the Building Bridges program of the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art. Additional residency support provided by the Pocantico Center of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.
